I was chatting with a co-worker last night, and he stated to me that one of his teamster buddies from term. 120, Strousburg, Pa., talked to him yesterday, and he stated that Roadway sent his buddy a letter in the mail asking him to resign, and then come back as a caual dockworker. It sounds like a two- tier wage system like the UAW has in place. While talking to a Rdwy. supervisor last night, he stated to me that Roadway Express, AGO in Akron, Ohio, has told their T.O.M.'s/ supervisors not to call in laid off dockworkers after June 15, 2008.
