One Dead in Early Morning Accident

A truck driver was killed this morning as he was checking the welfare of another driver.Florence Police say it happened around 6:15 on Highway-49.
Captain Kevin Isbell says a Nissan Maxima struck the back of an 18-wheeler as the truck was turning across the median. Another 18-wheeler, from united parcel service, tried to swerve out of the way -- but struck the maxima from behind.
When the UPS driver got out to check on the person in the Maxima -- another car came through and struck him.
