I Would Like To Hear If Any Barns Have Had Layoffs Of City Workers This Past Weeek. Our Tm Says It Is System Wide, And Now Our Yard Is Full Of Undelivered Freight. Thanks For Any Response.

Our TM told us that with the COO there wouldn't be weekly layoffs anymore. They were laying off 7 of 31 but working most on other starts for months (with 2 on letter of layoff for long time). They sent a letter of recall to one of the permenant guys last week for this week and no layoff. Everyone is still complaining though because they are being really anal about ANY OT at all. 8 and skate. See how long it lasts.

CVE/RFO city has everyone called back, still working lots of o/t everday. Will need to hire more drivers if they want everyone back early to handle "velocity freight"!
