My father drove for McCleans from 1972 thru 1984. I am looking for a McClean "diamond" for him to hang in his workshop. There has to be some out there somewhere. Once this forum takes off, if anybody has knowledge of such a diamond, please let me know. Thanks for your help. Dennis Johnson Jr.
There might be one in a truck junk yard some where or if all fails go to a sign shop around where you live they probably made one for less than a 100.$
Thanks for the reply Pup Driver. I do know a couple of places I could get one made. I didn't think of that route. Thanks
Yeah just take a picture of the Diamond and they should duplicate it . I agree it would be nice to have the real deal but sometimes thats not possible . Good luck .
Hey Nozzleheard, Hope you found your sign, I'm also looking for one. If you have one made, make sure it says: McLean, not McClean
Is there Anyone no anybody who may have any pictures of mcleans terminal in greenville ,sc or anybody that worked there?
I think I know where one is in the Nashville, Tennessee area if it is still there. It's been a few years since I was in that area but a printing company was using an old trailer for storage and it was a McClean. I recognize them as I see one now and then. My dad drove for them from 1958 till they closed in what 1986 I think. He is 83 now and still tells his stories from the road to any one who will listen ! Let me know if you still need it and I will go run it down. my e-mail is rhutsenpiller@comcast.net
