Hats off for sure, but dont forget the Mick in 1956 . In 150 games ,with a .353 batting average, 52 home runs, and 130 runs batted in, and his first MVP awards, he had to beat out Ted Williams in the batting average dept.Williams was second in average that year , hitting .345 .
Kevin, I know there were other triple crown winners. I was making mention of how long of a gap between winners this time around. I also find it amazing it happened in back to back seasons and then took another 45 years to accomplish the feat again.
