I “steal” other people’s dollies that think that it’s “theirs” and swap it out at the hub and bring back those nice red ones and leave it in their “spot” for them to see the next day.

You go to dispatch or call Central and tell them to change the dolly info. If you want to be petty about it, put in for delay pay.

Back in 21 the massive hub I ran into never had dollys in the pool so we’d have to snag off of trucks… 25 year award trucks dollys were always the first to get taken lol

That is very reasonable. I expected an answer of break the set and find the 'drivers dolly'

I care more about the PM date and the conditions of the tires than the dolly number. I've seen plenty of new dollys with herpes tires.

I'm not an old timer, but I get mad as hell when I have to take a single... I'm only losing 30 minutes of pay (15ish dollars) and that bothers me, but the part that really bothers me is that I know my dolly will be gone when I get back.
