Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. opened two service centers last week, bringing the total opened this month alone to three.

The first service center is located in Tyler, Texas. The 38-door distribution center is located on 4 acres. It is expected to have 24 employees and serve the Gulf Coast.

The Thomasville-based trucking company also opened a 16-door facility near Seaford, Del. That service center will have eight employees and will serve the Northeast.

Earlier this month, Old Dominion (NASDAQ: ODFL) opened a 16-door service center in Shreveport, La.

Company officials have said they plan to add as many as 22 service centers this year. At the end of 2005, Old Dominion had 170 service centers in 37 states.

Pompano Beach,FL will be next, and the next two will be Ft Worth TX and Akron/Canton OH.These are listed in the mini company guide that was given out over the last couple weeks. My question to all that reads this is ,where would we(OD) open up to 22 new terminals in this year or the next twelve months, which ever way the above post means ,that would make sense.I can guess two or three off the bat but not 22.If the additions are going to be added through a buy out, who would they be buying this time?
