ABF stock has dipped to $4.00 or so more than once during contract negotiations. If you have the stomach for it get ready and dive in.If your investing money in the stock market and are looking for safe investments OD is a pretty safe bet. No red ink and low operating ratios all look good to investors. ABF had 5 or 6 years of losses pre 2014 contract. We would of been a good buy in 2013 cause our stock skyrocketed in 2014 after our "great contract".
I know it. I wish I would have maxed my credit cards out buying stock when it was that low. I'd be a thousandair by now! Lol.ABF stock has dipped to $4.00 or so more than once during contract negotiations. If you have the stomach for it get ready and dive in.
They don't pay into dividends hard to make money off them I think they just recently increased rates but not enough to make a difference. If your investing money in the stock market and are looking for safe investments OD is a pretty safe bet. Yes they do. They pay 10 cents on 3-20-17. Granted ABF is paying 8 cent per share. There is a list of divided payouts. They don't pay into dividends hard to make money off them I think they just recently increased rates but not enough to make a difference.
Because OD can move more than U packs.
Good one, hotrodd! You're right on the money there! We died off only a little on U-Packs over the winter this year. Don't look now, but here comes the 2017 U-Pack season!
dont forget, the upack revenue is not on abf freights booksGood one, hotrodd! You're right on the money there! We died off only a little on U-Packs over the winter this year. Don't look now, but here comes the 2017 U-Pack season!

Where do they hide the rev. at?dont forget, the upack revenue is not on abf freights books
It's under ABC Corporation. A grievance was filed on the contractually illegal shifting of the revenue to evade paying bonuses but our POS union refused to process the grievance. I wouldn't advocate signing up with the teamsters for anybody.Where do they hide the rev. at?
It's all in 'The Fort'. Oops..I misspelled that...The FART.Where do they hide the rev. at?

No Flatbed's at OD.Both companies have the same type of equipment. So both outfits can haul what the other does. Both have pups, 53ft boxes & flatbeds. It is just a matter of how they want to run their corporation. von.
