Estes | Pay cut for linedrivers out west?

Talk around the fuel island is a lowering of mileage rate for upper tier estes west linedrivers. Dropping from 53.5 ct. per mile to 50.5 ct. per mile. This would bring them equal with the lower tier drivers. I remember sitting in on a linehaul meeting at the onstart of this aquisition of G.I. And I specifically remember the officers of Estes assuring us that they would bring the lower tier up with the upper. Not vice versa! My,My. Tell your drivers this rumor is false. And if it is true,let them know now,not in Nov. when the industry starts slowing,preventing them from leaving to another carrier.
