Does anyone know what happened to the phx
tm? Suits came in and escorted him off the property friday morning?!?

He probably did like so many other TM's. Had a good idea, voiced his opinion one time too many and got canned. But give corp. 30 days and they will implement his idea if it was good.

Phx Tm came into work and the regional manager and regional sales manager told him he was no longer needed.He had been there 7 yrs, I guess it was time for a cha:shout: nge
Surprise we got a new guy from Roadway the next day.
Dock forman quit today went to O.D. $200.00 more a week and less stress. Rats are leaving the ship.
 
That's hilarious

In our last change at the helm, we had a former Roadway TM who one day was afforded the same treatment and replaced by home grown talent.

It seems that when it comes to replacing some members of the management team the parts are interchangable with others from different companies.

Now the new guy just sits in his office and looks at his computer, probably wondering what the hell did I do
 
I think that's what they all do. Ours is at the computer when I come in in the early a.m. and still there in the late p.m. when I leave. The few exceptions are usually finding him at the computer somewhere else.
 
Just seen a memo. Looks like Derek P. from central dispatch is the new ROA TM. Hate to see him leave central. One of the few who had a clue about dispatching line drivers. Nice guy, too.
 
There is no way Saia could give me a management job. Hell, I'm scared just having the job period and I'm just a lowly city driver.
 
update on Dan

He got a job at bestway being a sales rep in Tucson, he commutes from his house in chandler, about a 50 minute drive.
I did here that he put in for the TM job at OD when Jerry quit. but haven't anything else:14:
