When I was on the road I always considered the police the best friends we had out there.
When I was on the road I always considered the police the best friends we had out there.That or maybe he went to sleep. Easy to do at night even if you get proper rest.
Would expect nothing less from a Tarheel.And kudos to the cop for the effort he exerted to get the driver out of the cab.
I have a brother who is a diabetic, he had 'insulin shock' several times & almost crashed. Some people don't know they have blood sugar trouble till they have an episode. Anyway, that driver should be forever grateful for that officer.
Meant to say brother in law is a diabetic.

The hood was open, which makes me think it wasn't medical? Maybe a break down, driver fell asleep waiting for tow/roadside and a fire started? Maybe fumes overcame him while sleeping?
