XPO | Police pull unconscious Xpo driver from burning vehicle in NC

I have a brother who is a diabetic, he had 'insulin shock' several times & almost crashed. Some people don't know they have blood sugar trouble till they have an episode. Anyway, that driver should be forever grateful for that officer.
Meant to say brother in law is a diabetic.

The hood was open, which makes me think it wasn't medical? Maybe a break down, driver fell asleep waiting for tow/roadside and a fire started? Maybe fumes overcame him while sleeping?

Glad he got out of there.

Thanks. So it was medical. Guessing the driver felt it coming and was able to pull over before loosing consciousness.

Well, it looks like it was medical. Caused him to crash and that must have made the hood open. Thanks for the link
