Few questions about usage of PTO. I've always heard your only suppose to be covered for 40 hrs of PTO per rolling year, and once you reach that 40 hr limit it's a "point/occurrence". Obviously if you have the hours to put in after the 40 is used up you'd still get paid but it comes with a point. Just wondering because I've seen others go way over the 40 hr mark in less then a year with no points given. Also, if you decided to take a 2 for 1 and use PTO for both days are those 16 hrs used towards the rolling 40 or just the first 8 hrs? I've always only taken 8 hrs PTO for the first day and none for the 2nd when sick because using 16 hrs in one shot leaves you with only 24 hrs to use for the rest of the rolling year. Obviously your allowed up to 5 points in a 6 month period but just curious if that rolling 40 per year is still a thing?
