Here at 120 we are rebidding in only two classes. The dockswitchers, and the cityswitchers only. They are doing this in order to fill the empty cityswitcher spots. What they did is cut the 4 open bids, and are now rebidding with the exact amount of bids that we have people. We have ALWAYS bid with the dock. This is going to force guys into the city, that do not want to be there. Any thoughts let me know. Is their any violation of seniority, say a guy that is on the dock and want to be in one of these classifactions. For 30yrs guys at 120 have NEVER seen this, and it has never been done at 120.:tongue0002::eck15::puke:

One works the dock or switches,the other works the city or switches.Wish ever is listed first that is there primary second if there is no more work there or they need extra switchers.

file a grievance based on past practices, biddingout of order, short bid term, etc. also file labor charges and cite in your grievance a "unilateral change in terms based on past practices". if you can prove this, you can stop it short term. your local will dispossess your rights in this grievance and likely surrender due to recent COO. it will throw a monkey wrench in the works and likely stop it.
