Safety comes to it's senses?

    I think it depends on the severity of the violation. And who knows if there is an actual blanket policy. Mine was face to face 3 weeks after the event. Other guys next day over the phone, with a suspension.

    Wow. Pretty sure that would be a major point of contention, if not the tipping point to make me leave. If they take these cameras and the resulting coaching sessions seriously, then make a commitment to handle these situations face to face. For me, it's a matter of respect: The policy itself, the employee, the employer/employee relationship. Kinda tough to get your point across over the phone, IMO.

    Well as far as con-way/xpo and becoming like them they have hired many upper management folks from there especially in the northeast so that would make semse

    I could care less about forward facing cameras it works as a CYA for the company if someone does something stupid to cause an accident but the driver cam and audio recording is stupid I don't get it and all the anal rules that go with it
