must be worn in the yard at all times
New penn has safety vests and snow shoes
how many companies do you go to that make you wear vests, safety glasses and hard hats. All the piers have had that rule for 7/8 years at least.
Vest's should help. Be nice if the some drivers would slow down and learn to look. Maybe some glasses?!?
Saw a roadman wear his on 84. I guess its a reality. U guys have smith system training, u ride in a van with safety supervisor, watch a power point presentation, Then u go 2 ihop for breakfast on the companies dime?
Yeah or a Wawa lol
Im a city driver for R+L, I wear my vest daily doing the city in Western Mass. Damn people are crazy drivers up there, every little bit helps to get me home safe.

Management also encouraged to wear vest when walking between parking lots and office
Next in safety
nope, done 1 on 1 in tractors on the drivers runs.
Wish we had the option of actual uniform shirts with reflective strips on them. We're all going to look like bums soon once these things get ripped, dirty and stinkin.
you will have that option, as long as the tag says ansi 2, or 3. #1 does not have the strips. we have have strips.
SAFETY VEST WORN PROPERLY
I was hoping actual uniform shirts with company logos. Like the Red Kap ones we have now.
im sure you can find them somewhere, just make sure they are yellow, not orange. must have 2 or 3 on tag. orange are for sups only
Why would they want you to be able to identify a sup in the yard?
they want us to be able to spot a sup on dock or in yard very easy, that's why they get orange. you may seen the safety award sheet, its all about neon
didnt a Pyle super get run over in the yard a few months back in new jersey?
