Millions face shrinking Social Security payments - Yahoo! News

WASHINGTON – Millions of older people face shrinking Social Security checks next year, the first time in a generation that payments would not rise. The trustees who oversee Social Security are projecting there won't be a cost of living adjustment (COLA) for the next two years. That hasn't happened since automatic increases were adopted in 1975.

I saw that on the news. They say it has something to do with how inflation is calculated or something. It don't sound good, whatever the reason.

The cola in the social security only pays for the increase they charge for medicare every month. Just don't get old. Social Security is a form of national health care and that's broke.
