Animals have some way of knowing. I once saw a show on a cat that either lived at or frequented a hospital and it would curl up in bed with the next patient that was going to die. My cats have always curled up to me when I am sick.

actually, that particular cat, would enter a room at the hospital (or nursing home) and soon after..the patient died..!!!
