Well that’s looks good. Hope it happens.
It’s going to happen for 2021 just have to get that rate negotiated into the next contract….
It all comes back to who negotiates our contract

Your biggest problem, is getting the lazy non voting members off their asses. No wait they can stay on their ass, vote online.... No excuses !!!!!!! Those talks and talking with the yes voters to start putting a little away now, is the first step to a better contract. I had those talks before voting on the last contract, and very proud to say our barn was 100 percent NO!!!!!
Nothing new, always has been the big problem.

We had a guy wanted to be Stewart got all his buddies to vote for him,he asked me if he had to go to meetings, I said no but it's not a bad idea!2 months later he said i don't like this I'm quitting

If we ever had ten sick days, it had to be before the eighties. But, I agree that we need more than the five we currently have.

Later is was negotiated pay from first day off.
Ours was always from the first day and couldn't be held for over a year.
If not used, you were paid for them, never 10 for sure.
Same with us no carry over.
