The "moral hazard" rears it's ugly head.

I don't think that "Moral", "Rear", and "Ugly Head" can be used in the same sentence. That would be an "Oxymoron" and possibly offensive to some. For that matter, I am not sure the word "Moron" can be used any more even with "Oxy" in front of it. It might hurt somebody's feelings.

If I worked for CF for13 years and they paid into my pension and then worked for ABF for 18 years and retired with 31 years of service how am I getting my pension as being an orphan. Didn't all the companies pay in for their employees before they went out.

Because CF never paid there unfunded liabilities part of the pension. All yearly benefit rates are calculated with liabilities included.
