Prayers to all the workers and their families. But we all know who will take the blame, make no difference how much training has been given. Once the doctors give them all the ok to return to work, Saia will let them go.

Something just occurred to me. In the training videos they say to wear gloves when changing a tank. At my terminal, I have yet to have gloves issued, and actually have never seen them. Anyone else?

That's funny right there. Have they started issuing steel toed shoes yet?

Steel toes are a sore subject for me...the good ones cost $225 and we get no allowance for them. We should get an allowance for things like steel toes and gloves, which are both required or needed to perform job duties

I guess sooner or later, drivers will be required to furnish the truck and buy routes.

Soon as they see it as a money saver, mull it over, have meetings on it, then convince themselves it's best for the survival of the company, it'll probably happen.
