THOMASVILLE, N.C. (AP) -- Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. on Thursday said fourth-quarter profit rose 22 percent, as the less-than-truckload carrier hauled more freight but also got a boost from its effective tax rate and fewer insurance claims.
