Summit County hunter bags 17-point buck known as ‘Legend of Springfield’

We have an annual "Big Buck Classic" here. I don't think any scored as high on the Boone & Crocket scoring as this buck would though there were some non typical racks that would come close. One buck that didn't qualify was one that had been chased for several years by several hunters. It was killed by a pickup just as the sun went down. What a waste.
