Not dental, prescriptions or several other things.
That is 70 to 80% off the cost right there. Tforce pays an average of $16000 a year for a family of 4 for healthcare. So in Canada that is about $12000 per family in taxes, leaving $4000 for the company.
The fact being, the pie is always the same, it is all how you slice it up.
Don't use Canada as a comparison, in Canada if you called a he who dresses as a she , Mister you go to prison .

Don’t compare freight companies, they’re all different.

They all perform the same function under the same tariffs(discounts notwithstanding). Some are larger, some are smaller . That is by choice sometimes also, TForce has purposely shrunk the business, 2 years ago 10500 union employees, today, just around 7000.

There is always the variable.
The Canadian dollar closed today at $.752 cents to the U S dollar.
It takes $1.33 Can. to equal $1 USD.
Realistically if you have $1000 USD it would take $1329.45 CanD.
To the average driver here at $2000 a week. that's a BIG difference.
So at 16% at the basic conversion of 75% is a 12% raise in USD. Not the worst scenario............
