TULSA,OK CENTRAL TRANSPORT Driver While Attemting Lighting A Cigarette Hit a BRIDGE

Cigarettes somewhat resemble Alcohol in that THEY BOTH REMOVE THINGS.
In this case, that was one EXPENSIVE smoke or he smoked his job.

I've heard from family members as to how some of their loved ones died: lighting up at night while driving.
Butane lighters as well (as available these days) in vehicle cigar lighters have LESS GLOW, therefore SAFER at night.

HOW HARD is it to just STOP THE VEHICLE and have a 3-5 minute smoke break??

>>Those companies (sysco, pfg, etc...) that disallow drivers to consume food or fluids while in the performance of their duties is TOO MUCH MICROMANAGING<<

Lets be honest here but look at the company and you can understand why they have there trouble with accidents..

Odd that the driver would admit to such a thing when most LTL trucking companies don't allow smoking in their trucks.
