i didn"t know that frito -lay could run turnpike doubles on city streets in florida. saw a set on thurs. nite 4/16. in west palm beach. coming from a depot. driver probably didnt want to run each trailer to compound and then hook up . went the oppposite direction for about 5 miles to get onto turnpike with a wide enough on ramp

It’s legal in Kansas. The eastbound LCV parking area is closed outside KC, so Frito-Lay flips around at the next exit and uses the westbound side. They don’t even have to use those parking areas at all, it’s legal to take them anywhere within 20 miles of the end of the turnpike and another 20 miles across the border into Missouri. US Foods runs them straight through downtown KC.
