Troopers said the driver of the big rig that collided with the minivan, David Arnold of Casper, Wyo., told them he saw Aime take her eyes off the road moments before the collision.
"The truck driver stated he saw her lean over," DPS spokesman Daniel Hawthorne said. "So we know she was picking something up, moving something, adjusting something. We don't know what she was doing, but we know she looked away from the road."
Authorities said Arnold, who was not injured, tried to avoid the collision by turning his vehicle to the shoulder of the road, away from the minivan, but it struck the left front of his rig. Arnold was hauling over sized equipment at the time and had an escort vehicle leading him.

I wonder if he'll be able to cope with this and continue driving or discontinue driving?!
Having not been in any type related situation driving OTR, I know not what I would/could do because of such a tragedy.

There is a gal my wife works with who was driving her car on the way to work.
She saw an oncoming car weaving around in traffic on a 4 lane as it approached her.

She slowed down in the slow lane, and got as far right as she could.
However the drunk still nailed her almost squarely head-on.

She was in the hospital a few days, her injuries were not life threatening, and she is recovering good.

The only thing is she is a real basket case,in her mind, and is having a very hard time climbing back in her car to go anywhere.

This is what I feel truckers have to deal with as well.
They may not suffer any injuries, but to put something out of your mind that is another story, even when they had no blame in the crash.
