VIDEO: CSX train plows into flatbed hauling heavy equipment in Georgia

A motorist in Ringgold, Georgia, captured video of a serious truck vs. train crash that occurred on Monday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 4:15 p.m. on February 27 on High Street in Ringgold.

Police say that an eastbound flatbed truck became stuck on the railroad tracks and was then struck by a northbound CSX train.


The train engineer suffered minor injuries in the crash. No one else was hurt.

CSX issued a statement on the crash: “CSX appreciates the swift response by local emergency personnel and are cooperating with local police, who are investigating the incident.”

Why is it never the trains fault??? I think that they need a round about to prevent theses incidents.
Why in the world should it be the trains fault? I'm really curious to hear your answer.
By the way, one of the safety rules every driver should know: "Don’t start across until you know you can cross the tracks completely without stopping."
