heard from a terminal manager that vitran is under a d.ot. investigation in the states of pa. ,california, ohio, alabama,and the province of alberta canada for d.o.t violations. D.O.T. is reviewing their I.C.C. permits in those states. i know the last few weeks when i go to pittsburg or other terminals they are making us get the trucks and trailers inspected before we hit the dock. know the rumor of leasing new equipment, can this be true. have any of you heard anything on this?
