Listening to both of you go back and forth about driving vs. dock, I can tell you that I work the dock as Cdl qualified driver. IMO working the dock is less stressful and just plain easier than driving. But if I were'nt Cdl qualified and had no medical conditions to disqualify me I would waste no time getting a Cdl.The days of dock only earning what drivers make is coming to an end.Qualified CDL drivers are getting harder to recruit and dockworkers(no offense) are a dime dozen.Don't believe me go to any other company but yrcw and abf.
