The International representatives and the business agents are just that, our representatives.
They are negotiating the best contract they can. It will be up to us to accept or reject the offer. The general consensus is we will reject the offer. We will then take a strike vote. When ABF rejected their contract, the members voted no to a strike. The international imposed the rejected contract as the only power we have is withholding our labor. we have already given back over $45 million in wage and benefit concessions. We need full wages and benefits. Let DHL/Standard buy their own new trucks.
