Do you need to work 1 day in January to earn it, or is it based on the prior year so you could take vacation the first week of January? Don't want any surprises around the Holidays...

You have to work 156 punches from the day of hire, not counting orientation till Dec 31 of your first year to get the full week. If not it is pro rated.

Then when your anniversary comes around after the first jan 1 you get a full week.
