From Dallas/Ft Worth to Omaha, Denver, Grand Jct the freight is very slow or non existent. Two weeks ago we couldn't keep up and now, runs are being canceled. Does anyone know what the heck is going on?

They had a rate increase and pissed off a lot of customers and lost a lot of business.

Yes. P&D up to 27.22 hour. The line is up to 66cpm. The N.E is much higher I’m just not sure of the exact amounts. This is for the Dallas area where the cost of living isn’t as high.

Keep up with financial events driver and that will explain the drop over the past 2 weeks. The last 2 weeks in July were marked off as sell offs a couple months ago before numbers were released. Well the numbers were all above or what was expected them to be so it should be picking back up after first week of August. Saia has raked in huge profits for the first 2 quarters so a general rate increase would be expected to carry you guys into winter. Then you will see a general rate decrease if profits start slipping. By the way keep up the good work and even though I don’t work there my option call for you Guys is up 150% for tomorrow’s earrings report. Oh yea you guys should really keep up with the numbers over there to rake in huge rewards each quarter.

A lot of LTLs are slowing down, primarily due to the trump tariffs having a negative impact.
