It was 50 years ago today that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. For sure a poignant and pivotal moment in history, the events that day forever changed our world. I was in school, someone came to the classroom door and whispered something to the teacher. She began to cry. Then she went into the hall, and the entire class followed. I asked what was going on, someone told me, and I remember looking down the hall as children and teachers began pouring into it, as if we could somehow see something. It wasn't long and school was ended for the day and we were all sent home. So, for those of you who are old enough, do you remember that day?
