Hey Muler! I thought Brother Hoffa just told the National Press Club a couple of months ago that our union was corruption free, and that
the Consent Decree should be ended! What happened here?

Maybe he should have said almost FREE! I am not surprised that we are not. YOUR JUST GLAD THEY WEREN'T THE LEAD TEAM FOR OUR CONTRACT BROTHER ALWAYS!

It is my understanding that the IBT was the initiating party of the investigation that led Hoffa to put 120 into trusteeship. There will be meetings with the membership next week to see if they feel the trusteeship should continue.

I don't believe that Hoffa trustees any local unless the IRB tells him to. It might be to avoid any claims of malfeasance or just plain doesn't care. I don't know which.
