In 2004 Vitran was the "new kid on the block", so to speak. Vitran was the up and coming carrier, turning record profits, in the heartland of America. What went wrong?

In 2004 Vitran was the "new kid on the block", so to speak. Vitran was the up and coming carrier, turning record profits, in the heartland of America. What went wrong?

Up and coming for sure, record profits? Maybe for Vitran they were record profits back in 2004 but compared to others like Conway or Holland our profits were measley. They were making millions of profit each week back then and still are today. Holland is back to making big bucks and doing over 29,000 shipments per day. We are down to what 11,500 per day?
