..so are they doing away with the fill-in`s ? At first blush it looks not bad.At least with a call block the extra board has some idea when to be available...but it still depends on when the dock cuts the trailers...and there still remains the problem..is your terminal going to move the freight or is another terminal going to move it while you sit and wait..
 
...ook and your point for the repost ? Still doesn`t answer the question where are the fill-in postions...there main reason for their being was to cover vacation or illnesses ?

The first Xtra gets to pick vac coverage Then so on and so forth if 5 guys out they are offered in order . These are excellent call block rules that are already in practice at our barn .:clap:
 
More than likely there will only be one board like in memphis we dont have a fill in board any more its all filled by one board.

...well as long as there are no fill-in postions in this new system I see no problem..but if there are fill-in bid postions then no, xb does not fill a sch before the fill-in guys..thats their bid,to fill-in for absent drivers..I have been advocating getting rid of those slots/fill-in and just making them xb drivers..
