At a 1 A.M. meeting with dock/yard employees at RFO this morning, East Division Vice President Ken S. told the workers that he understood that the final "amended" change of ops decision would be signed off on today. He also told the workers that the bidding would start on June 9, and that Yellow wanted to start the Velocity Service on July 6. He refused to answer any specific questions about the "amended" change because the document had not been signed off of yet. He told the workers that Yellow appreciated the fine job they had done on the "next day" program the last 3 1/2 years, and that the Yellow needed these changes to service the customer. He also added that there would be another change later in 2008 to expand the Velocity Service further west and south. Let's see what comes down today or tomorrow!:chairshot:

Checked with the Terminal Manager here 44 and this is all he had to give us here at LCP. He's a great guy and is giving us all choices...

If you all need some other choices go over to the FedEx site. They are suffering from the same malady today. And since they are so brainwashed over there, I'll say this for them over here:

WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING UNION
