This is the best thread I've read in a long time. We should be sitting around a campfire

I don't know why you would assume that everyone would vote for it. I voted no and so did half my terminal.They threw a bone to the new guys with immediate full scale pay and they threw a bone to the old timers with an extra week vacation. This one is in the bag and everyone will vote for it. No question.
You're absolutely right. Anybody can "just make up stories" about you claiming sexual harassment, and you are guilty unless proven innocent. This is sick and wrong, but it happens entirely too often. As you can guess, I know about this, and just recently. I am investigating bringing a lawsuit against the perpetrator, but it may not be worthwhile since a) I didn't get fired over it; and b) they likely have nothing to take, meaning it will cost me more to go after them than I will ever collect from themPrior warning notice is not required if the cause of discharge involvement in a serious accident while on duty;
Now you can be fired without Prior warning if involved in a serious accident even if it's not your fault. Why is there no protection non preventable?
Prior warning notice is not required if the cause of discharge sexual Harassment – ability of employer to take employee out of service immediately for proven sexual harassment. How do you prove Sexual harassment anybody can just make up stories about you and you're fired?
Abeseentism and tardiness should be separate progressions you can be a few minutes late or disappear for 3 days to get same warning that's not right separate offenses?
That was then. You had a chance to vote on what was given up. Some that worked for a YRCW company were forced to give up without a vote, they were the ones that had something "taken" from then. You were not one of them. You chose to be represented by a third party, and with that choice you chose to abide by a democratic process of 50% + 1. That was then. Focus on what you have in front of you for the future. 10 years is a long time to dwell on negativity.Got to luv our pay scale back in 2007 , oh wait thats where we are in 2019 yet ??
Parts of it are...This is the best thread I've read in a long time. We should be sitting around a campfire
The fun part about our early days, but maybe that should be another thread.Parts of it are...
I did some time at Ft Riley, so I only know Manhattan and Junction city. And the alcohol induced memory wipe worked, so i don't remember much about them. As i recall it was rather flat. And I do recall with pride that the Russians never invaded Kansas in the early 80's.Have you ever driven across Kansas?
No matter which direction, there’s always a headwind!!
Denver to Miami, across 10 to LA, north to SF, across 84 to Chicago. Ended up in Bloomington, IN. Took a bus home for Turkey and back. Flew home from ATL for Christmas. Can’t remember when I finally got the truck home.
Not in real life anyway! This was one of the scariest movies I ever saw back in the 80's!I did some time at Ft Riley, so I only know Manhattan and Junction city. Just like Hillary Said .Just a bunch of Crumbs. Needs Voted Down. Look at stock price. Can`t manage crap!
You got that right. Especially the beginning aboard the Looking Glass aircraft. Having been in a nuke capable Field Artillery unit, (there's a happy thought) the biggest thing in our alerts and inspections was making sure you had a valid fire mission. Granted, our round was nothing like an ICBM, or airdropped weapon, but a lot of the protocol's were the same. Very well done movie.Not in real life anyway! This was one of the scariest movies I ever saw back in the 80's!
With a fattie and and an adult beverage of your choice.We’d all be nodding off in our lawn chairs.
My opinion: #1 FULL PENSION CONTRIBUTION,then worry about the other crapNow my opinion.
Full scale.
Keep the week. (carrot... As El called it)
