Has anyone been successful in getting the zip codes realigned at their terminal as they were originally layed out in this change and merge. We are trying to get some area back in what we feel is a bad decision on the companies part. Just wondering if you guys have been pushing the company on this issue.
 
After the COO there are supposed to be sub-commitees set up to look at these issues. I do however doubt that anything will come from these "meetings". THe zip code alignments are horrible at best, but what more could we have asked for when done by a bunch of engineers that have never stepped foot inside a terminal or driven a truck.
 
Yes we are fighting for our areas back and so far the invisible planner hasn't appeared to appreciate what they are doing.

Even out ngmnt is scratching their heads but I guess they all figure they may get the heave ho any day so they dare not challenge anyone........

Yes, Word has been passed around here that there is sub committe that will be looking at the zips AFTER the COO... as many realize some of this zip re-alignment is just ridiculous... Hopefully this will be so...

One example for us.. why is Orlando taking Edgewater, at 50 miles away, when Daytona been servicing this area at 15 miles away.... and sales reps ( if they are good ones) will also squawk, cuz it is a loss of area for them and their revenue ! ) Harass yer SALES REP ! to get it back !
