Of course happiness is being able to retire so why put your happiness in someone else's hands
Beef up your 401k and put whatever pension and social security with it but no bs for real there are other places where you can get more pension funds may it be the military another carrier or whatever if it means that much to you
You'd be surprised at the results you get in life by ridding yourself of negative energy and channelling it to better your all around psychee

It's a shame you can't just take the time to realize what you had and what you just gave up for $4 and a week of vacation.
Stock market is a ponzi scheme. Does 07 and 08 ring a bell ? Lehman brothers?

When cspf fails and your years of service is kaput how will you be able to retire ? Hopefully the pbgc can give you a fee hundred a month. Think about it if you were going to get 3500 a month vs couple hundred. 5 years in now and i'm projected to get $530.

Thanks for not liking me. I don't associate with narrow minded people even if they have love in their heart. The fact that you let the union steam roll you is sad. Your ba will get his full pension and health insurance though.

Bust most importantly to you Me and My wife are gonna retire just fine with or with central states pension funds
That fund doesn't make the top 30 in my priorities in life but it seems to be EVERYTHING to your Big Wide minded As@
 
better off at mcdonalds than yrc, less racism, i got called n word at yrc and was never called that at mcdonalds so yeah mcdonalds > yrc, these clowns on here that suck yrcs knob are just seasoned knobgobblers who love their overtime and 6th and 7th punches or retired with full pension so you will only get a delusional response to what you ask about the situation you are in, if you do not like being called n word work elsewhere

If you put in 20% very hard to see a 1000 take home check again will have to gross $1750 if you plan on staying here start doing it learn to leave on less.

We can never be the kings of the road again. Lack of union leadership and a company that's broke. There is simply no future here. You know you always wanted that new car boat RV or beach house but with a pension that's empty you'll never get to those dreams.

Depends on how long you’re going to work, here 4 years for 1 year of pension, supposed to be broke by 2025, pay is ok, insurance is good
If you’re gonna work a while, go to abf, ups or ups freight

Do you remember Black Monday? I lost well over a hundred grand that day. Have made it all back plus a good bit more. I've been saving for 24 years. I don't rely on cspi. I'm my own retirement. You can learn a lot from that lesson
 
10/19/87 market lost 22% of its value. Today that wouldn't happen because of the rigged market. You have "plunge protection teams" that artificially inflate the market. You have the Federal Reserve with a buyer on demand to prop up the market. Market is a scam plain and simple. No provision in the constution that says we need to bail out banks and auto companies and insurance companies. The free market was destroyed when Paulsen said "too big to fail".
