Reading the article, I didn’t see
Much in the way of changes, other than the marijuana, and use of CBD oil. The rest sounded like the usual retoric, and politically confusing language that they try to make you think they put a lot of effort into the whole thing. (2 days)
A solid A, Driver, on reading comprehension.

I thought this was kinda comical (from the article):

“We started working on the handbook last year and we got bogged down very quickly because we didn’t think we could make changes to it,” Brian Morris, a Boston occupational medical doctor who serves on the medical board, told Transport Topics. “Changes would require publishing in the Federal Register and getting opinions on it. So if we wanted to make any major changes it would become a very complicated process..."

Oh NO! Not that.

Big Dave testifies on behalf of Robert Mueller.
Coop Dispatch, lead man, and egg collector tech, today testified that Robert Mueller did not, advise or leak info of any speculation, rumor,or hear say, to the effect that they would receive a “tip”, about any overpasses in the country that are due to have the roadway below paved, thus lowering the clearance below 13’6”. It was not yet clear weather or not any monetary payments were involved.

This mean the @Big Dave hat will continue to tour with Iron Madien?

Regulators plan to assess violence against female and minority drivers

https://www.freightwaves.com/news/r...-violence-against-female-and-minority-drivers

WHAT?

“We feel women have a ways to go before they feel safe” in this occupation, the association’s president, Ellen Voie told FreightWaves. “We feel we need to take the lead to make sure it’s a safe environment for female as well as male drivers.” Voie had earlier told FreightWaves that there is no other industry where employees of mixed gender are in an enclosed space for long periods of time “with a bed [i.e., a sleeper berth] just inches away.”

Pretty much nonsense. Not a common or prevalent issue. In fact, typically the opposite seems true. Any incidents would likely be isolated and NOT industry wide, or common, in this day and age. But we'll study it anyway, and pay those who participate...

Imagine the horror! I was walking down the boardwalk yesterday in Ocean City NJ, and I looked down 15th Street and saw a good hotel trundling toward the boardwalk. Luckily, I was able to distract the driver with a hoagie, and he stopped short...

Ok SatishRatt? On page 202 of this thread, you reported in June tonnage and rates on the spot market stunk? Now you are saying all is well? Reminds me of Kevin Bacon trying to calm the crowd at the parade at the end of Animal House.

My partner and I were not in Jersey yesterday. We were at the Mueller hearing with Big Dave...

Are you sure?

This was from page 202:

FMCSA moves to allow drivers to take CDL test outside of home state

https://www.ccjdigital.com/fmcsa-moves-to-allow-drivers-to-take-cdl-test-outside-of-home-state/

"The rule, if eventually made final, would not require states to offer CDL knowledge tests to out-of-state drivers, but it would give states the option to offer the tests, then transmit the results to the driver’s home state, which would be required to accept the results."

"FMCSA says the proposal will make the knowledge testing process more consistent with the skills testing process, which can already be conducted outside the driver’s home state with the results transmitted back to their home state and the home state issuing the license."

Not a big deal, really, but I've never heard of skills testing being done in another State. Not sure it actually happens. :scratchhead:
