Guys like you need to realize that not everyone with this company is close to retiring. I had about 20 years to go when they ceased the contributions. Do you think I'm going to be more concerned with my income 20 years from now than 20 days from now? It was an easy YES for the concessions from me.

I've worked non-union jobs in other industries before starting at Roadway. There was no peace of mind there. The bosses could make your life miserable at the drop of a hat--and often did. This job is easy money!

These laid off guys get 4 days home a month, eat Wendy's, arbys, mcd`s, and subway daily for dinner. They are forced to take sleep apnea test they must pay for. The women they date have no teeth and bad hygiene, they work or baby sit a truck and trailer 24 hrs a day. On your day off you get paid time and a half, or double time. On his day off they call him in to work and he gets nothing.

If you want to complain about YRC and how things are going, please quit so the laid off guys can come back and do the job. we would love to have it! We would like to buy Harleys and new Ford trucks also.

I'll tell you how I see it. As long as this company has to ask me to give back my wage to keep them open and then acts like that's not the case, I will continue to complain and point this out. And by the way if the only reason you want or need to come back to work here is to buy a new Harley or Ford you obviously have learned nothing from this recession. Good luck on that.
