Yup. They supposedly don't have access to the data on it unless you drive in a way as to activate it, but there is a live feed somewhere all day facing forward and the driver.

Amazing how you don't let the lack of accurate information hinder you in any way.
Exactly right Song, the thing runs constantly, always saving the last 8 seconds of your life, waiting for a reason to save it to the hard drive, to down load it over the internet latter that night. We all know how safe and secure the internet is. I'll bet before too long, somebody will find a way to hack into these cameras and be able to get a live feed.I'm not quite sure where I was inaccurate. They get a "snapshot" of the incident, after the incident and... wait for it... BEFORE the incident!!! So that means the thing is running ALL THE TIME!!! I'm sure those dudes in the cubicles at drive cam or whatever it's called can access that feed anytime they want. So again, where was I inaccurate??
They upload at about 2 every night. Video or no video. No live feed. Ya worry way too much. The camera will be a witness to save you one day.Exactly right Song, the thing runs constantly, always saving the last 8 seconds of your life, waiting for a reason to save it to the hard drive, to down load it over the internet latter that night. Snapshot, yes.
Recording 8 seconds before "incident", yes.
Continuous loop of recording on card inside camera unit, yes.
Short video file saved when "incident" activates camera, yes.
Live feed, no.
You currently employed at Con-way, no.(Nuf said)
BTW...Do you have any comprehension of how much the bandwidth charges alone would be to have a live feed from thousands of cameras streaming audio and video 24 hours a day?
Or a witness to get you fired
Keep believing that
