Do you work out of charlotte terminal if you do do you know the shortest road run out of there in miles and if you know what top rate of pay is per hour on city drivers I am looking at Greensboro to if you have any info it would be greatly appreciated thank you ps the whole union thing I'm not really sure how I stand on it really not happy about it again thanks

I'd avoid Charlotte. I've heard from other drivers it's not the best environment to work in. Don't know much about Greensboro.

Is that cause of union stuff you think I have 3 years till I do any thing just researching thank you if any one know anything about Greensboro it would be great again thank you

Guess that's why guys who've been friends for 15+ years don't even talk to each other anymore.
I think he was asking more about "working" environment, which is said to be "much" improved, most seem to agree. As far as interpersonal relationships, some may have suffered, but each must take responsibility for their own condition, in that regard.

bol driver, it seems that with the recent pay scale (GPD) announcement, both Charlotte & Greensboro will be at the $25.08 scale starting in June.

Hope that helps.

3 years 'til you make a move? That's quite a spread. Start now by tracking trends. Living, employment, etc etc. I work at CLT as a shuttle driver from a short run center.,107 miles. With mileage, VIA's and dock work, I make a good nickel.

I picked the run to CLT on my bid for the relaxation aspect. They know me, I know them, I do what is asked and I don't hold my breath and stomp my feet 'cause "it" isn't going my way....it's all good. Oh, I make noise and those around me there that are HERE will attest to that. It's like having a 200+ door stress ball at my ready.

The best part of my night, is driving those who keep a "watchful" eye on me to make sure their Cheerios aren't getting pee'd in.....BANANAS!!!!

Just do what you're supposed to do and every center is doable.

(pssssttttt....fell free to toss in a comma or two)

Thanks for the info i appreciate it yeah i have awhile just want to make sure i make the right move were ever i go thanks

Not sure if you are picking the North Carolina centers for a reason but geographically GSP (Greenville/Spartanburg SC) is pretty much on par with GSP from Charlotte as is GBO from Charlotte. I think CLT-GBO is 94 miles and CLT-GSP is 82'ish miles. Only being familiar with the centers and NOT the "areas" they are located, again seeing that you have set a tentative time schedule it might be a good way to burn a few calories and see what the actual difference in preference is. GBO will be making a few more nickels here in a few but in 3 years time, someone elses math may of brought us all together by then.
GSP is not a HUB, big enough where it could be. Someday....? In 3 years...?

Many would say the "working" environment was/is good prior/post election, if you come in, do what's expected of you, and go home then you'll have no problem....which I'm guessing this would be the same at almost every center.
As for the personal relationships, many have the "you're either with us or your against us" mentality...which is sad but it's to be expected I guess.

CLT got the bump 2 years ago, no bump this this year, but yes, your numbers are still correct.

It's probably the stuff you say behind their backs, after your all Mr nice guy to their faces. It's no wonder their not on your side.
I don't say anything behind anyone's back that I wouldn't say to their face....but then they'd have raise their heads when they walked by, atleast attempt to make eye contact, and have the decency to speak in order to hear it first hand.
