YRC Worldwide Inc. will change the operations of its national carrier next week, but the Springfield terminal has been spared a severe downsizing.

The changes at the trucking firm YRC Inc. will begin Sunday after members bid on jobs that are transferred to other facilities, according to a recent memo from Tyson Johnson, Teamsters freight division vice president.
