Nothing....if ya got the legs and booty for it...What's wrong with Richard Simmons lol
Yes, per John Smith - Pres. CEO, FedEx Freight.
Not to discount the impact on salary personnel, their AIC guidelines use enterprise wide metrics, and are impacted by the "challenges" at Express.
Came from some sort of communication. Either daily news, Quarterly result summary, or preshift topic material. Can't say which. It was printed though. I'll see if I can find it.Where is it confirmed by John Smith? That article in other thread that hootowl posted pretty much confirmes it is everyone.
Comes from "internal use only" communication (3/19/19), on quarterly results, that SHOULD have been communicated to all employees, via pre-shift.Where is it confirmed by John Smith? That article in other thread that hootowl posted pretty much confirmes it is everyone.

Reiterates the fact that Non-Exempt [hourly] "Freight" employees are under a separate plan based on stand alone margin. Others are based on different metrics that will not be met.
I would ask your manager why it was NOT communicated.
Like a LOT of things. Even when corporate WANT'S it done, it gets "overlooked", deemed unnecessary/optional. The glaring example would be the monthly Corp. Comm. videos, which are the ONLY direct/unfiltered communication most can access. If your center actually does it, they should be commended. If not, I would ask why not.Preshift?
Kinda like a pre/post trip.
Figment of your imagination.

Same goes for our fellow drivers not doing pre/post trips. We should ask... WHY NOT? Might we put them in the same boat as the mediocre (at best) management? Pretty easy question to answer, IMHO.

Not sure if you were here back before we got the monthly Corp. videos. Back then, by the time the messages/directives made their way through the long chain of command (if they ever made it through), they were NOTHING like the original narrative. Each VP, MD, CCM, changing it a bit to fit their personal agenda.Useless propaganda and dribble filter out of those videos IMO.
Location driver? Perhaps we could send Big Dave or someone to "pay him a visit". We (at TB) have people in place to "back you up". ;)I was caught post tripping at a layover point yesterday by a senior domicile driver. He informed me that my behaviour was "triggering", because I was obviously "OCD" and needed counseling. He told me to get in line with the 99% of drivers who are worthless steering wheel holders.
God, I wish he was kidding.
Time for a staff meeting?
