I worked for Ames dept stores. We did something similar. After delivering to a store, if there was no vendor loads going to a D.C. get broker loads rather than head back empty. Guessing that is what Amazon is doing

This was news to me. Haha. I thought they jus hauled there own crapt. Jus wait till one of these purchase drivers roll in on our yards with a prime van and we load a TL on it.
