Watched an old episode of ‘To Tell the Truth’ a couple nite ago. One of the ‘imposters’ said his name(don’t recall), but stated his occupation was truck driver for either;
Intercontinental Mountain Express or
Continental Mountain Express.
Anybody remember a company name like that, and what did they haul?

Anybody remember a company name like that, and what did they haul?

May have been TransCon, short for Trans Continental The company folded in 1990. It was at one time one of the top freightlines. They had blue tractors, I think Freightliners. The company was based out of LA. There was also a Continental Express in Little Rock. Some of the execs, one woman, served some time over stealing from the company. It was bought by Celadon in 2008 which also went belly up a while back. I doubt it had started business at the time you are referring to.
