The collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge is diverting shipping and trucking around one of the busiest ports on America’s East Coast, creating a new disruption to global supply chains.

All the negatives in this article about taking an hour or 2 longer to get trucks in and out of certain areas near the bridge, is another example of not having back up or a contingency plan in case something like this happened. Kind of like when someone’s computers go down, or get hacked, they can’t move products. Hard to believe it never crossed people’s minds in that area, what if we could not cross that bridge?
