It has come to my attention that there is a person at my terminal that decided it was there obligation to inform management of what I post here on truckingboards. We had that debate several weeks back on smoking in the trucks and this person printed my posts and turned them in to the regional manager as proof that I was violating company policy.

I post my full name here because I'm not afraid. If I post it I mean it. I've been smacked down by the moderators for not following the rules here, which is fine. You play ,you pay. And the moderators do a good job of keeping things on a civil footing. Thank you.

If this person feels the need to "turn me in" then go ahead. I may be mistaken, and the moderators will correct me if I'm wrong, this site is NOT owned, operated or moderated by FXF. This is a site to disceminate information, discuss information and if need be vent a little. It's a good site and sometimes even fun. But I never thought someone would try to use it as a weapon against a fellow employee.

It's sad to know that I can no longer speak my mind here for fear of getting written up by FXF. I like my job and will do what I need to do to keep it short of hurting someone. So be careful what you say here on truckingboards because management may be watching!
 
That goes without saying. We signed a piece of paper just before the merger stating we wouldn't speak to the media or publicly post company information not available to the public.

The same advice goes for facebook and any other social media site you belong to. There are always people watching.

Truckingboards will never reveal personal information about any member. We can't control what another member does.

I would never post my name on here, you never know who is watching. Plus I don't see how a username on a forum is proof that you are that person. I could register a username with the name of one of my coworkers and talk smack, that doesn't mean it is them doing it.
 
People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I really doubt there isn't some rule he isn't violating. Hopefully your redshirts look upon this kind of crap with the disdain it deserves.
 
:452:I ain't skeered. Everyone that is on here knows me if they have switched with me, either slip seat or @ a switch point. We have ppl @ our own personal terminals that would love to get each and everyone fired ( if they are below you ) just to move on up. And IF that is the only way they can make it in the world well they are **** They will read this and whine to our scm, ccm or what ever. And as far as I remember we still have freedom of speech in America...or is it spelled Amerika now.

Further more I have posted and been asked about it @ work a few times I told them what I do off FXF property is my business. They can only dictate to me what I say and do on THEIR property or in THEIR vehicle. Hence my good ol sayin " I ain't got a dime in it "or " it doesnt matter ". :6788: I like my job HATE the politics and :butt kiss: that goes on...so there ya have it.

We ALL came here to work. Everyone bitches about their job @ 1 time or another. I don't narc on ppl and shame on those that think they have to lie, run like a kindergartener to the teacher, or :butt kiss:, to get ahead. Must be their up bringing...NUFF SAID.

Do you remember fri night when y'all were standing around your pickup talking with a few others and the weasel took pictures. I bet it was him that did it. He is first on the extra board, so that makes him below u. CYA !!!!

I know. I don't care much what management thinks as a result of what I post here. We're all grownups(allegedly) here. It's just the fact that this person did it that comes off as being sleezy. I would never post corporate secrets here, as if they would tell any of us secrets, but we do tend to toss things around which is why I like coming here. What I find amazing is when I got hired they spent several hours with me debriefing me on my time with OVNT/UPSF. I wouldn't reveal much about them either.
 
I'm just pleased that for the first time in TB history someone used the word "disseminate"! You even almost spelled it correctly!! :)

We have drivers that smoke in the tractors and don't even try to hide it. They hold the cigarette out the window as they drive through the yard.
I can't see any action being taken against an employee for something said on a forum unless it was a threat of violence toward another individual and that would be investigated by law enforcement. Usually after the violence has occurred. Hiding behind a user name may not help you in that case.
As far as the other goes, FedEx management has more to worry about than what is said on a forum.

Isnt it funny how many people here have worked for UPS but when I worked there I couldnt find a single person that ever worked for fedex.Its like they got some automatic DO NOT HIRE blacklist.
 
If you use your real name here, and you speak the truth, you're crazy. Just remember, they do NOT need a reason to fire you in most states. Look at them cross eyed and you can be gone with no recourse. If you use your real name here, I suggest strongly that you change it.
 
If FEDEX is so concerned about what is said here maybe they need to start acting right, so we dont have anything bad to say about them. Look at the OLD D postings, you hardly ever hear a complaint from those guys. Maybe it is because that company knows how to run a freight bussiness an treat its employes, unlike FEDEX. FEDEX brings this on itself. Just Google FEDEX lawsuits and see all the trouble they get in. They think they can do whatever they want because of who they are. If you want a good example of that check out the lawsuit where they had to pay 1.8 million to a customer because they kept denying his claim for $17000, or check out the 8million they had to pay out because they were cheating customers on the money back guarentee by coding the deliveries as 9/11 security when they were not. This corporation thinks it can do what ever it wants, well screw with me and what I post and I will make sure all of their dirt comes out where the public can see it. Thanks FEDEX for showing me how to be dirty and ruthless, you are a great teacher.:438:
 
Don’t be surprised when the Goon Squad from security shows up to escort you off the property like so many out here in the West. Red Shirt or Blue Collar. doesn’t really matter.
Seems If you’ve been hear longer than 20 years, x Viking and you make waves. You’re at the top of the list.

I know for a Fact they watch! I was asked by a Management person Higher than a center manager what my name was on here!
 
Wow it must suck to be so afraid of management and losing your job, that you have to watch what you do on your own time in your own home.
